“We would like to recommend Tony Golik for the position of Prosecuting Attorney. Our family had the opportunity to work with Tony in February 2007 when he prosecuted the case against one of the four men accused of murdering Robert D. Harrington (our husband & father) and assaulting Laura Harrington and Gerald Newman. It was an extremely stressful and confusing time for us. Tony explained the process to us many times during the proceedings. This was no easy task for him, given the intensity of our emotions and our worries about every detail of the case. He kept us informed as to how he thought things were going and resssured us that the case was proceeding as planned. It was clear to us that Tony had put a lot of time and effort into the case. It appeared to us that he had most all the details of the case memorized and had thought about how he would describe the case to a jury. His confidence during the trial reassured us that everything was going to work out as it should.
We were very grateful to be able to work with someone that gave us so much time and respect, especially when he was so busy prosecuting a high profile and complicated case. We appreciate his professionalism, his thoroughness, and think very highly of Tony. We strongly endorse Tony for Prosecuting Attorney for Clark County.”
Sincerely,
Laura Harrington, Debbie Carnes, Brian Harrington
”Working with Tony Golik has allowed me to see the kind of work ethic and passion he exerts on a daily basis, both inside and outside of the courtroom. Tony is a consummate professional, and his record proves that he is the best candidate to protect our neighborhoods and to vigorously prosecute criminals in order to keep them behind bars. With years of actual courtroom experience right here in Clark County, I have no doubt that Tony is the most qualified candidate for Prosecutor and he has my full support in the upcoming election.”
