Latest CVTV Debate available online:  Tony Golik is a true Leader.  His fellow Deputy Prosecutors look to Tony Golik because he leads with knowledge and skill; he leads with grace and encouragement; and he leads others in a way that lets everyone know that their work is valued and important.    

Note that Tony’s opponent says that criminal trials are “simple” even though the opponent has never gone to trial in the State of Washington nor has he prosecuted a criminal.  Tony says that he “doesn’t think his [opponent's statement] is a very good leadership model” given that most of the office is dedicated to prosecuting criminals and going to trial.   Tony’s line “It takes a Prosecutor to be the Prosecutor” means the Work and the People that do the work are valued.

Just one of Tony’s trials once had three surviving victims, one homicide victim, over 300 pieces of evidence, 30 officers, 50 witnesses and four crime scenes.  Conveying that to a jury is anything but simple.  Getting a guilty verdict on a case that complex takes skill Tony’s opponent doesn’t understand.   All of local law enforcement understands.  The Deputy Prosecutors understand.  Art Curtis, Bronson Potter and Retired Judge Harris understand….
